It’s the best among the rest.

Most people love travelling, go visit different places and enjoy what the experience has to offer and because of these there are a lot of ways to go from one place to another now. As time goes by, the world has progressed better and better. It has offered us the different modes of transportation which are by water, air and land. It is a person’s choice to take any ways of transport convenient to him or her.

I’m thankful we have every means possible of transportation here in Calgary. I really want to check out every place my friends recommend me. I want to take long drives with my family around Canada and even cross-country to U.S. If given a chance, I would really just want to travel to different places if time, money and circumstances permit me.  J

I haven’t been on any type of water transportation ever. Well, would a water log ride in an amusement park counts as a ride? Haha. I really want to experience travelling on water even just by a small boat. Honestly, I want to own a yacht sometime this lifespan though that would take a lot of hard work but still anything is possible if you really want it, right? J I’ll just keep my hopes up. Haha. I already asked my parents a couple of times if they could let me go on a cruise with friends or with them as a present to any occasion, they said yes, someday, but still I don’t know why it is still not happening. Maybe someday will take a little more time to come. Haha.

I love plane rides. Actually, I want to be a pilot. If I’m not taking Health Sciences right now I would be in an Aviation school. I really enjoy being up in the air. It’s when I feel freedom from all the worries down below.  I have been in a plane numerous of times.  I have been to Hong Kong once, Australia twice and back to Philippines countless of times. My last plane ride was just this end of July. I went to Philippines to visit my family and friends there. I have missed them so much, enough reason for me to save money for the vacation and courage to ask my parents if I can go there ALONE. It is my first time to travel by myself. It was a fun, tiring and memorable vacation. It will surely happen again. I hope soon! :))

Calgary offers a lot of land transportation. It has scheduled bus and train rides, bike lanes and pedestrian lanes for the best of all the means of transpiration for me, WALKING. Talking only about transportation by means of land, people nowadays are up for every convenience they can get in the world. That is why every person capable of buying a car has one,  some are up for catching the bus and train that sometimes go late or early for its scheduled time and seldom do I know people who prefer walking. 

For me, walking gives me a sense of peace. Same as plane rides. Well, I can't afford a plane ticket every time I feel the need to have some quiet and some alone time. Haha. But really, it is where I can think about my worries. It's like I don't have to think about the time and just get answers to my problems, I can also go on shortcuts if ever I want to go to somewhere that would cause me a lot of time if I take a bus. Plus, it's a good exercise too! :)) Whenever I have a class, I try to wake up and leave early for school so I won't be late if I walk.  

I wish other people would not just acknowledge but understand as well the benefits of walking and lessen the use of modes of transportation that runs by the use of petroleum or any thing that would add to our environment's damage.
